things are moving like molasses down a concrete slope, yet some new events have occurred.

I have made some improvements and new additions to inventory system. For example, I've added the ability to hand over an item. Or to throw it away.

Also, I spent some good amount of time to acquire, repair and set up my own server. I haven't figured out software side of things, but I got it fully working (not without dozens of debackles with my ISP).

so I have been messing around with some things and decided to upload everything I've done. This inventory thing is pretty cool, I am proud of it, even considering its simplicity. I also found this pretty open source font and decided to use it.

I also ended up using javascript regardless of anything I said before. whatever, it works. I'm talking about live clock to the left. looks cool, works cool. pretty cool...

one day I will finish this inventory thing and it will be the best thing ever.

My hosting decided to bump up pricing from 27 to 55 dollars per year, which is just not worth it anymore. I am renting and working 9 to 6, thus these couple of dollars are truly important. It means I'll have to seek new hosting provider with php and mysql support by late autumn.

Even if not for their pricing, this website has literally no excuse to exist on such advanced platform, especially in such early uncooked state. I loved using their email services though.

Perhaps I'll try to self-host it on something...

i really feel like not using javascript. it is difficult, it is annoying and i don't know how to javascript

although i will have to use it eventually for messaging system, which is absolutely sad. a few exceptions perhaps?

so i just added the text box for myself to write posts from the website itself and not database.

it also supports HTML so that's cool.
