Welcome to Caelith!
Caelith is a cool post-apocalyptic webapp simulator game RPG online social network created by joshfueled AKA no video man AKA 2V. You gotta login or create an account to stop being redirected to this page. Although you can't yet.
In this game you will be able to do all sorts of cool stuff. Right now, there is no any reason (and possibility) to create an account, since the experience will be pretty limited. I upload updates on this website despite the fact that it is not really a good idea to do so on the cloud. Reasons are unknown even to me, but if you interested in this project feel free to write me an e-mail: vlad@caelith.net

Jay DK Beta v0.1.0 (07.08.2025)
Hallo everynyan! This is a major update, which affects nearly every aspect of this website. It opens lots of opportunities, builds many fundations for future features and finally lets everyone socialize! It was also a turning point for following addidtions. Things I've managed to implement finally gave some shape to this project.
NEW DOMAIN
It was finally achieved! The website now operates under a completely new and prestigious domain: caelith.net! If somehow, you still accessing the website with joshfueled.info: erase that domain from your featured websites, destroy the history entries and forget about it forever. It lacks the SSL certification and will be around only until November this year.
E-Mail verification system
Well, not quite yet. "E-Mail" part of this statement is completely false. Right now, website does not require you to input your E-Mail, and, along with that, won't let you verify your new account. That is, unless I will give you the code myself. "Why do you need to require verification on such an unpopular, rough-edged and feature-poor website?" ... Next question!
Posts
The second main addition of this update are the Posts! People can finally write their own posts, rate ones from others (using 1 to 5 rating system) and share their comments on them. For now, posts can be found in user profile pages! They are right below user information and new Actions list (which stays almost functionless for now). You can click on post title, to see full post and to read/write comments.
Locations
There is a new Locations feature! Users can freely travel between fictional cities (concept of which will solidify in future updates) to access certain Points of Interest with unique possibilities, exploration opportunities etc. Locations are located in the world using 3-dimensional coordinate system. You can freely travel all around instantaneously and without many restrictions, for nowwwww. For that, there are presets of known cities and a Manual Coordinate Insertion System 4000 which allows you to travel literally anywhere.
Profile rehaul
I've majorly changed Profiles! They are now featuring a brand new design, new information, actions, live online/away/offline display and more cool settings! These are the new settings:
- Profile picture cropping
- Profile picture sign
- "About" info editing
- Account deletion
There were also many administration additions for myself.
Database overhaul
The structure of a database was majorly optimized and sorted out. Nobody will ever notice any change, but I surely will. Now everything is much more scalable and easier to access.
Security
Many systems got their own protection against unbenevolent intruders. Now this environment is slightly less flawed, but still pretty flawed no matter that. My pinacle of perfection is absolutely unbreachable website by any means, and untill I achieve that, I won't proclaim this project as "finished".
Overview
It took quite a bit of time, effort, trial and error to implement all of this in a single update. By any means, I won't proclaim myself as a web-developer or web-designer; I lack the skill in both of those areas. Crazy ideas that emerge in my mind are a huge cause of my insane (by my measures) progress. I have to share the development proccess with my real life too. Tomorrow I'll have a driving test! No matter what, the amount of thrill that I get from improving this project iis what drives me the most. I am happy to share my achievments with you. List of changes:
- Registration is now available (????)
- Mandatory sign-up verification
- Profile picture cropping
- Customizable profile picture signs
- Customizable "About" information
- Account deletion system
- Profile page redesign
- Live prescence status display (toggleable)
- Post publishing on profile page
- Comments on posts
- 5 star rating system
- Locations and Traveling
- Local Points of Interest
- "Thought box" on Welcome page
- Design and layout improvements
- Updated favicon
- Proper news pagination
- Many many many optimizations
- Checks and verifications wherever you go
- Security additions
- Copyrights added
- Updated ToS and Privacy
- I have probably forgot about something else
I hate bugs. Both in my code and in real life.
By that point I have finally finished everything I wanted for this update. Posts, comments and rates are done, profile page is redesigned, customization foundation is laid, the database is reorganized and everything is perfect.
All that left is to finally put end to all of the bugs, imperfections and issues that emerged thanks to my absolutely supperior programming skills. That is so much easier said than done. You see, the issue is that my past self absolutely doesn't care about me and forces things to work by sacrificing literally everything else. The mess I've caused was majorly reduced since the last update, but there's still so much more to do. Redundant pieces of code which are split into different files, anchors and headers instead of proper and so much more supperior javascript ajax, ABSOLUTE MADNESS in css file and many, many more inconviniences that kinda demoralize me in a way.
I shall put an end to this. I'm so glad that in the proccess I learned many things, these are gonna make it so much easier to fix my mistakes. Still, that is a huge amount of work and I have to share it with my actual IRL job, driving school and somehow rest from all of that. No matter that, I'm determined to turn this into a thriving platform which will contain all of my awesome ideas minus bugs.
After a detailed analysis from worldwide experts it became as clear as day - I lack the skill and experience in creating websites, thus right now I'm completely overhauling database structure. As Weird Al once said - "Your database is a disaster". His words could have been avoided if I knew these kinds of things from the beginning and maybe did some more test projects. Trust me bro, this update will be sick.
